How the machine works?

Ultraviolet (UV) germicidal wavelengths primarily range from 200 to 300 nm, with the 253.7 nm wavelength having the strongest bactericidal power.When bacteria and viruses in water or air pass through the 253.7 nm UV radiation.

It penetrates the cell membranes and nuclei of microorganisms, disrupting the bonds in their nucleic acids (DNA or RNA), causing them to lose their ability to replicate or become inactive, leading to their death. This kills all bacteria and viruses without the use of any chemicals.

Germicidal lamps do not require conversion to visible light; wavelengths of 100-200 nm are highly effective. This is because cells have a pattern in their absorption spectrum for light waves, with maximum absorption in the 100-200 nm range.

The absorbed UV light actually acts on the cell's genetic material, DNA, through a photochemical process. The energy from the UV photons is absorbed by base pairs within the DNA, causing genetic mutations that kill the bacteria immediately or prevent them from reproducing, thus achieving the desired sterilization effect.

How to maintain this machine?
Regularly inspect the UV lamp to ensure proper operation.
Replace the UV lamp after 9,000 hours of continuous use or one year. To replace the new lamp, first unplug the lamp from the power socket and remove the UV lamp. Be careful not to touch the quartz glass of the new lamp with your fingers, as stains can affect the light intensity. Carefully insert the lamp into the sterilizer cavity.
