How to Operate Milk Pasteurizer Tank
Step 1: Prepare the Milk
First, ensure that the raw milk has been collected and filtered through a strainer. Inspect the milk to ensure that it is free of impurities and debris.
Step 2: Preheat the Milk
Preheat the milk at a temperature of approximately 60°C to kill any bacteria that may be in it. The preheating procedure can take up to 20 minutes.
Step 3: Pasteurize the Milk
After the milk has been preheated, it is ready for pasteurization. The milk is pasteurized at a temperature of approximately 72°C for a minimum of 15 - 20 seconds. This will eliminate all the harmful bacteria that might be present in the milk.
Step 4: Cool the Milk
After pasteurization, the milk is then cooled down to a temperature of 4°C to 5°C. Cooling the milk helps to preserve its nutritional value and makes it safe for consumption.
Step 5: Store the Pasteurized Milk
Store the pasteurized milk in a container that is free of bacteria and contaminants. The milk can be stored in the refrigerator or freezer until it is ready for use.
